The MEDPORŽ Nasal Dorsal Shell is designed thinner and more flexible
than traditional MEDPOR Nasal Shell shapes and provides an excellent option
for augmenting dorsal height or correcting saddle nose deformity. The upper
lateral cartilage components of the Nasal Dorsal Shell are designed to
support the nasal valves.
The width and height of the implant can be adjusted in-situ and maintained
by suturing the implant directly to upper lateral cartilages on each side.
If desired, cartilage grafts or crushed cartilage mixed with antibiotics may
be used to fill any void under the Nasal Dorsal Shell. Each Nasal Dorsal
Shell is packaged sterile and sold with a sterile silicone template.
