The new MEDPORŽ ATTRACTOR Magnetic Coupling System is designed to couple a
MEDPOR Orbital Implant with an external custom artificial prosthetic eye. The
MEDPOR ATTRACTOR Magnetic Coupling System is indicated for patients who have
MEDPOR Orbital Implants and wish to gain improved prosthetic eye motility by
coupling the orbital implant to the prosthetic eye. The System consists of
two 5mm ATTRACTOR Screws, Screwdriver, Driver Blade, Implant Stabilizer and
ATTRACTOR Drill Bit. The ATTRACTOR Screw is composed of surgical grade
titanium coated steel with center-drive connection and deep threads. The
head of the ATTRACTOR Screw is designed to be attracted to one or more
magnets (sold separately) placed by the Ocularist into the posterior surface
of the external prosthetic eye.
