The two sectional components of the anatomical MEDPORŽ Chin
Design permits easy insertion and placement of the implant. The
surgeon can link the components together for proper alignment. The
interconnecting omni directional pore structure of MEDPOR Biomaterial
allows for rapid vascularization and soft tissue ingrowth.
The two-piece chin design provides both anterior and inferior projection.
Additionally, the tapered wings provide augmentation that addresses
unwanted jowl lines. MEDPOR Biomaterial may be easily shaped with
a sharp scalpel and readily accepts sutures or micro fixation screws
for attachment to the mandible.
For most cosmetic procedures, the small or medium shape sizes are
adequate for soft tissue augmentation. The large projection is useful
in cases of significant skeletal deficiencies.
Implants are provided STERILE, packaged individually in double
peel pouches.
