Designed in conjunction with Oscar Ramirez, M.D. Midface rejuvenation is now easier and more natural with the MEDPORŽ Design RZ Malar Shapes. Available with 3 mm and 5 mm projections, these malar shapes allow for subtle contouring of the midface. The porous nature of the MEDPOR Biomaterial allows for rapid soft tissue integration while providing the necessary facial architectural support for the midface tissues. These shapes provide skeletal augmentation to correct for defects related to facial aging or congenital origins. The projection of these malars is central to the malar prominence with a tapering towards the zygomatic wing. This creates a delicate malar augmentation without increasing the bitemporal distance. The medical edge is notched to accommodate the infraorbital facial nerve. Malars may be stabilized with suture or rigid fixation screws. Use of only one implant or different size implants is possible when facial asymmetry exists. Each malar shape is packaged STERILE and sold individually. Sizer set available.
